Anesthesiologist Associates of Virginia, Inc. Crisis and Issues Management Anesthesiologist Associates of Virginia, Inc. was locked in a stalemate in reimbursement negotiations with Anthem, and the conflict threatened to spill over to hospitals, referring physicians and patients. Through well-researched media communication and targeted messages to 14 key audience groups, the public was alerted to the potential crisis. All audiences received targeted communication throughout the negotiations, placing pressure on all parties to negotiate in earnest.
