Access puts message out on the street for Children's Trust.

An old oven can send a positive message.

Members of Access, Children's Trust Roanoke Valley, and Carter Video took an old oven and a message to the downtown market as part of a campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of leaving a child unattended in a parked car during summer. The heat can reach potentially fatal levels in a matter of minutes, even on a day when the temperature seems mild. This is especially true of children who whose nervous systems are still developing.

Kudos to Magnets USA for helping with the signage on the ovens. It turns out it wasn’t a half baked idea. Dozens of people got the message and the event generated great press coverage which spread the message to thousands of others.
