Access Chosen Best Place to Work

Access staff on the steps of their future home.

"A lot of companies say that their biggest asset is people.  In our business, virtually the only thing a company has is the imagination, creativity, and the ability to successfully complete often complex projects.  I believe the people who comprise Access are what make it special and they are certainly what make it a great place to work."
– Todd Marcum

It seems the folks here at Access have known all along what researchers have spent considerable time and money to find out:  employees want more than a secure job, competitive salary and health benefits.

The advertising and public relations firm known for its innovative thinking and diverse client mix has just received the Blue Ridge Business Journal’s "Best Place to Work" award.

Key among judging criteria were work environment, ethical standards, contribution to the community and product or service leadership.

Those are the factors, according to numerous studies, that contribute to a satisfied and effective workforce.  Employees want to work for a good corporate citizen that plays a role in improving the community, they want to form personal bonds at work and strive toward shared team goals, and they want to have a say in how they do their jobs.

According to The Blue Ridge Business Journal, "There must be something to the nearly 400 professional organization awards the company has won it its short life…A spirit of independent thinking, sense of individual responsibility, camaraderie, and team synergy all contribute to the high level of job satisfaction."

We couldn’t agree more.
